Enjoy the fun of the GeekyCon MainStage!

Home to our biggest, geekiest programming, the GeekyCon MainStage plays host to the silliness of our Opening and Closing Ceremonies, panels featuring our special guests, special performances like GeekyStars, and many more must-see events!

Experience "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" with fellow Potterheads!

It’s no secret that the people behind GeekyCon are huge Harry Potter nerds (we did create LeakyCon, after all) so can you imagine the squeeing that took place when we learned that “The Eighth Story” will be published while we’re all together at GeekyCon 2016? We geeked out.

Five minutes later, we started planning the most fantastical Harry Potter book release party we could imagine. If you’re a Potterhead, you will not want to miss this! Read more about our Midnight Release Party here!

Meet Fellow Fans!

All weekend long, we hold informal meetups so you can get to know fans who love the same things you love.

Are you a Starkid fan? There’s a meetup for that!
Love Game of Thrones? There’s a meetup for that!
Trying to find your fellow Hufflepuffs? Of course there’s a meetup for that!

You get the idea. They’re super-casual, and super-fun!

Cosplay!

If you’re a cosplayer, you’ll feel right at home at GeekyCon. It’s not uncommon to see characters from the Avengers to Zelda roaming the hallways between programs.

No matter your experience or skill level, feel free to wear your favorite fandoms loud and proud at GeekyCon!

The celebration of YA Lit has been a major facet of GeekyCon since 2011. Each year we assemble some of YA’s best and brightest authors to discuss their work and the industry, give advice to aspiring writers, and generally geek out in hilarious and memorable ways you just won’t see at any other convention.

We call this unique track of programs GeekyCon Lit.

ROCK OUT AT THE GEEKY MUSIC FESTIVAL!

We’re a bunch of geeks who know how to have a good time! Friday night at GeekyCon is the Geeky Music Festival, a six-hour festival-style concert featuring some of the biggest geeky bands including Harry and the Potters, Draco and the Malfoys, Tonks and the Aurors, The Whomping Willows, Koo Koo Kanga Roo, and more!

After a full day of con-going, there’s nothing like rocking out with your friends and some awesome musical acts.

Find your new faves with Geeky U!

Geeky U programming has a more educational slant to it. Have you always been interested in a fandom but aren’t quite sure how or where to jump in? Check out one of our Fandom 101 courses and you’ll get all the knowledge you need to get going!

New for 2016, we’re adding higher-level courses for more advanced fans who want to dig even deeper into their faves.

Get your groove on at the Esther Earl Rocking Charity Ball!

We end Saturday night with a huge party where we can unwind with friends and dance our faces off until the wee hours of the morning.

We use the term “ball” pretty loosely; you can come as dressed up or down as you want. Just don’t forget your dancing shoes!

Our Geeky U educational programming series features Full-Time Geek, an exciting selection of talks from people who have turned their geeky passions and hobbies into full-time careers. Hear their stories and get inspired to let your geek flag fly!

Sing your heart out!

If you sing in the shower, or into your hairbrush in front of the mirror each morning, you’ll love our singalongs, where everyone is encouraged to belt along with our special guests as they ham it up to some of fandom’s most singable tunes—from Broadway to Disney.

It’s a total blast!

Join GeekyCon Open Mic!

Do you write—poetry, prose, songs, rap, short stories— about your favorite fandoms or fandom life in general? This year, we’re introducing GeekyCon Open Mic: A no-pressure way for you to show off your work in a casual, fun, friendly environment during the Geeky Music Festival.

If you’d like to sign up for a time slot, apply before July 15, 2016!

Enjoy Uniquely Geeky, Fan-Centric Programming!

Programming at GeekyCon lets our attendees and our special guests geek out together about the things that they love, whether that is storytelling, world-building, filmmaking, or simply discussing to the tiniest detail the plot of a favorite series.

Whatever the topic, geeking out is encouraged and celebrated with abandon!

Mark time in the GeekyCon Pep Band!

Is there anything geekier than playing The Imperial March from Star Wars, dressed in your cosplay, as a part of a pep band at a fan convention? If there is, we haven’t found it yet! Band geeks, bring your instruments and join the fun!

Get your game on!

If you love tabletop gaming, you’ll love GameON @ GeekyCon! We're creating a special selection of programs that will help you discover new games as well as learn how to create your own. We're also tricking out an area of the Marketplace so you can have some hands-on gaming fun!

Pull up a chair, make a new friend, and get your game on!

Try your hand at Quidditch!

While we haven’t quite figured out the flying broom part, we do know that Muggle Quidditch is a blast! A section of the GeekyCon Marketplace will be dedicated to this most beloved wizard sport, so grab a broom, make some room, and catch that Snitch!

Conquer the Escape Room!

One of our most in-demand experiences from 2015 is back with an all-new challenge! Join your friends and search for clues in an exciting race against time!

Autograph Policy

Autograph and photobooth sessions are subject to guest availability. As such, we can not guarantee that all guests listed will be sitting for autograph and photobooth sessions during the event. Be sure to check the final schedule for a full list of autograph and photobooth sessions.

GeekyCon is one of the very few conventions to offer autograph sessions at no additional charge; however, to keep autographs free, they cannot be guaranteed. In an effort to minimize wait times and run signings efficiently, the following procedures apply to all non-Rockstar ticket holders:

(If you have a Rockstar or GeekyCon Lit ticket, the following only concerns you if you would like to enter the drawing for an additional autograph pass over and above those guaranteed with your registration.)

Access to autograph and photo booth sessions are granted on a first-come, first-serve, unless indicated otherwise by GeekyCon staff. Access to those sessions that are not first-come, first-serve will be granted via drawing. These drawings will take place online with more information to be released on BroadwayCon.com and via email. Autograph and photo booth sessions will take place in the GeekyCon Marketplace.

Specifics of the drawing process and how to gain access to each autograph or photo booth session will be provided prior to the convention.
